Honduras
Dr. Kutler returned early this morning from Honduras where he had the opportunity to accompany 40 students on a medical mission treating the poor in outlying rural villages. We also spent some time at an orphanage and a day doing labor and construction in another remote village helping to build a clinic.
The students were very grateful to learn how to practice medicine in a resource poor country and we were able to treat around 500 patients in 3 days. Most important, the students state they are inspired to continue volunteer work. As always, he is inspired by all the people they were able to treat and work with and renewing his vows to live a life of service and be a kinder person.
